Yuchen Liang

I’m a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Andy Pavlo and Jignesh Patel. I’m a member of the CMU Database Group, where my research focuses on database systems, particularly query optimization.

Previously, I interned at Neon, working on its open-source storage engine for serverless PostgreSQL. I completed my B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
